Glan Afan’s Silver Surfer group has been awarded a grant from the Awards for all scheme-part of the Big Lottery Fund run by the National Lottery. The sum of £1,468 will be used to provide the senior citizens of Glan Afan’s community with a greater range of opportunities to participate in the the technological age, and is very much appreciated. The Silver Surfer group meets every Thursday, after school from 3.30 until 5 and is open to everyone in the Glan Afan Community who wants to find out a little about computers and the internet.
